Add a site

Create a depot or operating centre, with its site code, name and address, so assets, users, question sets and alerts have somewhere to attach.

  • Where to add your first site and later ones
  • Which fields are required
  • What to do if the site won’t save

Your first site

New companies add their first site in the setup wizard, which opens when you first sign in. Fill in the site details and select Create Site & Continue.

After setup, add more sites from the Sites page.

Add another site

Open Sites in the sidebar and select Add New. The form asks for:

  1. 1Site Code: up to four characters. It’s turned into capitals as you type, for example MCR.
  2. 2Site Name: the name your team uses, for example Manchester Depot.
  3. 3Find Address: start typing a UK postcode, depot name or street, then pick the match to fill the address.
  4. 4Address Line 1, Country and Postcode: required. Lines 2 and 3 are optional.
  5. 5Tel No.: optional, numbers only, 7 to 15 digits.
  6. 6Select Add. You’ll go back to the Sites list and see “Site added successfully”.

After saving

Open the new site from the list and use the shortcut buttons on each tab to link what belongs there.

  1. 1Add or assign the vehicles and trailers based at the site.
  2. 2Invite users, or assign existing drivers and managers to the site.
  3. 3Check the site has the question sets it needs. New sites get the included templates automatically; assign any of your own sets that the site should use.
  4. 4Add alerts so the site’s manager hears about defects and incidents.

If the site won’t save

Check that the required fields are filled in. Site codes and names must be unique in your company, so you’ll see “A site with code … already exists” if one is already taken.

If Add New is missing, either your role doesn’t include permission to create sites, or you’ve reached the number of sites your plan includes. The dashboard shows an upgrade prompt when it’s the plan limit.

If the address search says it is unavailable, type the address into the fields yourself. The site works the same either way.

Still stuck?

Drivers: ask your fleet manager first, they can fix most access problems. Managers: sign in and open a ticket, or use the contact form if you can’t sign in.
