Download and sign in

Get AutoMauve from the App Store or Google Play. Your company invites you by email first: use the link in that email to create your account, then sign in to the app with the same email and password.

  1. 1Open AutoMauve and tap Login.
  2. 2A secure page opens called Sign in to your account. Enter your Email and Password and tap Sign in with password, or tap Continue with passkey if you’ve set one up.
  3. 3If you work for more than one company, choose the company.
  4. 4You’re taken back to the app and your Home screen.

The quick start guide

The first time you sign in, a short guide explains how checks, defects and offline saving work. Tap Next to move through it, or Skip to close it.

You can watch it again any time from Account, then Settings, then Replay onboarding.

Allow permissions

The last page of the quick start guide asks for three permissions. Tap Allow on each so nothing interrupts your first check.

  1. 1Notifications: tells you when your vehicle changes, a check is overdue or a defect needs attention.
  2. 2Camera: for defect photos and scanning barcodes.
  3. 3Location: records where each check was done, and the local weather.

Find your way around

Five tabs sit along the bottom of the screen:

  1. 1Home: your current vehicle, a Start Check button, anything waiting to send, and your recent checks.
  2. 2History: every report you’ve submitted, with search and filters.
  3. 3Checks: start a vehicle check, incident report or tail-lift check, and finish anything unfinished.
  4. 4Vehicle: your assigned vehicle, its open defects, and its MOT, tax and insurance.
  5. 5Account: your profile, company details, settings and Sign Out.

Still stuck?

Drivers: ask your fleet manager first, they can fix most access problems. Managers: sign in and open a ticket, or use the contact form if you can’t sign in.
