Start the check
On Home, tap Start Check on your Current Vehicle card. Or open the Checks tab and tap Daily Vehicle Check.
- 1Your assigned vehicle is already selected. To check a different one, tap Change and search by registration.
- 2If you work from more than one site, choose the Operating Site first.
- 3If you’re towing, turn on Include Trailer and pick the trailer.
- 4Enter the current mileage under Update Odometer Reading. It can’t be lower than the last reading.
- 5Check the Check List is the right one (tap Change if not), then tap Start Check. You’ll only see the check forms for the site you picked.
Answer the questions
Questions appear one at a time. The top of the screen shows “Question 3 of 24”, the section you’re in and a progress bar. Questions marked with a red * must be answered.
Tap Continue to move on and Previous to go back. Yes/No and single-choice answers move on by themselves after you tap, unless the answer is a defect.
If you find a defect
When an answer is a defect, the same screen asks for the severity, what is wrong, and photos. See Report a defect during a check for the details.
Review, sign and submit
After the last question, tap Finish to open Review Report. It shows the vehicle, trailer, odometer, how many questions you answered, and any defects. Tap the pencil on any answer to change it.
- 1Check the defects listed have notes and photos.
- 2Tap Tap to Sign. Turn your phone sideways, sign inside the white area and tap Save.
- 3Tap Submit Report.
- 4You’ll see Submitted when it has reached your company. Tap Back to Home or View History.
Don’t exit halfway
Tapping Cancel and then Exit during a check throws away your answers. If you get interrupted, just lock your phone. If the app closes or your battery dies, your check is kept: you’ll see an Unfinished vehicle check card on Home with Continue check.
